Understanding A “Pre-Development Agreement” (PDA)
To support the success of this challenging project, Metro is utilizing a Predevelopment Agreement, a form of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) in which firms participate early in the project development process to help balance project goals through the design phase. Metro staff will outline the project, this unique project development and delivery model, and details about the anticipated procurement.
Metro is making strides to improve travel between the San Fernando Valley, the Westside and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with construction of a high-quality transit connection. Metro is currently finalizing a Feasibility Study (Study) evaluating a range of high-capacity transit alternatives facilities, including the Orange, Purple, and Expo Lines.
