Vida Mannings is the West Coast Business Development lead for Rohadfox Construction Control Services Corporation. She is an accomplished transportation professional whose progressive leadership capability have brought system changes that have positively impacted millions of people. Her significant accomplishments include being on teams that have delivered some of the most successful transit systems in the US. Prior to joining Rohadfox, Vida served as the General Manager for the transit system in Cobb County, GA, the Deputy Chief Operations Officer for the Maryland Transit Administration, and the Director of Operations Support Services for the Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit) in Seattle.
Prior to her time in Seattle, Vida was the Manager of Operations Administration for the Charlotte Area Transit System , the Transit Services Planner for the Greensboro Transit Authority, and a Transportation Associate for COMSIS Corporation. She is a member of many professional associations, including serving as the past vice chair of the Diversity Council for APTA and as inaugural president and founding member of the North Carolina chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials. Vida earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Transportation from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a graduate of Leadership APTA, Insights Leadership Excellence for Women, the Challenge Greensboro Leadership Program.
